Description:

Five Meissen Porcelain Figures, Germany, 19th century, each gilded and polychrome enamel decorated, including a youth playing shuttlecock, ht. 5 7/8; a youth playing the flute, ht. 5 3/4; a young girl feeding chickens, ht. 4 5/8; a young boy displaying a barrel of grapes, ht. 3 5/8; and a maiden riding the back of a steer, ht. 3 3/8 in.; crossed swords marks.
Estimate $800-1,200

All first quality marks.
Shuttlecock: Restored to ribbon and back and sides of head.
Flute: Restored chips to hat brim, to end of flute; small chips to grapes and leaves on hat and in barrel.
Young girl: restored to a finger of one hand.
Boy w/grapes: Chips to leaves in barrel.
Maiden: End of steer's tail missing.
