Pair of Dresden Porcelain Figural Vases and Covers, Germany, late 19th century, Carl Thieme Saxonian porcelain factory, gilded and elaborately decorated in polychrome enamels, the cover with cherubs flanking a crown with crest below and bordered with applied flowers, the vases with classical female handles, each holding a basket of flowers, decorated on one side with figures in a landscape, the reverse with floral bouquet, the shoulder and base with applied flowers, the plinth similarly decorated with floral adorned scrolled feet and paneled sides with figures in a courtyard to one side and floral sprays to the remaining, underglaze factory mark, overall ht. 32 3/4 in.

All with scattered chips to applied flowers and leaves. One cover with restorations to the cross atop the crown, and to one leg of a cherub. One cover in very good condition. Each vase with restored wrist and hand to one female.One hand broken off but present. Plinths in overall good condition.
