John Pearson Arts & Crafts Mirror
Copper, mirror glass, wood
England, c. 1900
Rectangular form with repousse leaf, berry, and vine decoration centered by a circular mirror-edged wood frame, variation in patina on one panel, ht. 37, wd. 30 1/4 in.

Note: Pearson was co-founder with Charles Robert Ashbee of the Guild of Handicraft at Whitechapel, London. Pearson left the Guild in 1892 and went to Newlyn, Cornwall, where he formed part of the Newlyn Arts and Crafts movement.
