Near Pair of French Provincial Fruitwood Armchairs, late 19th century, with carved slat backs and arm supports, woven rush seat, square based stretchers and turned turnip feet, together with a pair of beechwood upholstered foot stools with carved rosettes and fluted, tapering legs, ht. 9 to 35 3/4, wd. 13 to 21, dp. 10 to 20 1/2 in.
small chip towards end of one arm support, old split to middle slat at stile junction on same chair, foot stools with finish wear throughout, upholstery in good shape.
