Starrett Company Surveyor's Transits, Athol, Massachusetts, 20th century, including three black painted and steel transits with 12-in. telescopes, vertical protractor divided 0-40, bubble level, horizontal scale divided 0-90 above the four adjustable screw levelers and collapsible feet, and a Starrett No. 99, with an 11-in. scope, vertical protractor divided 0-40, dual bubble levels, chamfered horizontal scale divided 0-180, all on four adjustable screw feet, all with fitted wood boxes.
