Two Surveyor's Transits, a Buff & Buff, no. 22772, brass and green-painted instrument with an 11-in. telescope, rack focusing, vertical half-circle, compass with silvered outer ring, dual verniers and bubble levels, and a fitted wooden box with labels; and an unmarked brass instrument with an 8-in. telescope, silvered vertical circle with dual verniers and magnifiers, enclosed chamfered scale on horizontal circle with dual verniers and magnifiers, and a wood box; both with adjustable screw feet.
