Quarter-plate Daguerreotype Portrait of the Three Harris Brothers of Nelson, New Hampshire, identified in inscriptions "Almon, Sheldon, and Edwin Harris," on a label pinned to the velvet case pad, in a pressed-paper/leather case, (scattered tarnish or corrosion spots, spiders, and dust).
Note: The three Harris brothers, Ezra Sheldon (b. 1827), Bethuel Edwin (b. 1830), and Almon Ainger (b. 1832), were the sons of Almon Harris (b. 1800) and his wife Phebe (Shelton), and were born in Nelson, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.
