Description:

Three Daguerreotypes of Painted Portraits of Gentlemen, two quarter-plate size: a folk portrait of an elderly man, the other of a young man; and a sixth-plate folk portrait of an elderly man, two of the portraits mounted in pressed-paper/leather cases, (imperfections).

quarter-plate size:
Folk portrait of an elderly man- tarnished edges, vertical wipes.
Young man- tarnished edges, minor small scratches l.l., mounted under glass, brass mat and thin brass protector, lacking case.
Sixth-plate folk portrait of elderly man- minor edge tarnish, and scattered brownish spots and spiders, case deteriorating.
