Ten Sixteenth-plate Daguerreotype Portraits in Union Cases, five of young ladies, one of an elderly gentleman, three of young men, and one of a boy, mounted in assorted Union cases, of which one is listed as rare: "The Nooning" (Krainik 620), (imperfections).
All with varying degrees of tarnish, the elderly gentleman being the worst, is hard to view, most have minor dust, some have spiders and small spots of corrosion, one bearded young man has a small dent, and another young man appears to have been wiped in a few spots; the rare case is in poor condition with a large loss on one edge and several edge chips.
