Twenty-six Assorted Early Photographic Cases, three quarter-plate size, nineteen sixth-plate, and four ninth-plate, most book-form bijou or "jewel" cases with gilt edges, made of a variety of materials including papier-mache, lacquer, and embossed leather; some paint with flowers and scenes and gilt-decorated, some inlaid with mother-of-pearl or abalone, one with a lithograph picture, one embossed brass.
