Description:

Three Sixth-plate Daguerreotype Portraits of Young Ladies, a bust-length portrait of a woman with a slight smile, wearing a cameo brooch centered on her white lace collar; the second woman sitting in a chair, wearing a patterned dress with lace collar, the brass mat impressed "ANSON," (probably Rufus Anson, New York City); the third woman wearing a dress with a fringed cape and black lace mitts; mounted in "Geometric/Scroll" (Krainik 226, 237, 256, respectively) Union cases, (imperfections).

1st woman- finger print l.r., minor dust.
2nd woman-edge tarnish, minor dust.
3rd woman- edge tarnish, minor corrsion spots and dust.
