Group of Cabinet Cards, Depicting Military Figures, Musicians, Hunting Parties,European Royalty, Scotsmen, and Places of Interest, eight military figures including one of General Sherman, the others little known or unidentified; nine depicting musicians, some playing banjos, fiddles, bells and water glasses, one of Chauncy Olcott, a tenor; three depicting hunters or hunting parties, ten depicting Scotsmen in their native costume, (six are cartes-de-visite); several European and British royalty including Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, Franz Joseph I Emperor of Austria, his son Rudolf, Archduke of Austria, Rudolpf's wife Princess Stéphanie of Belgium, Sadi Carnot, French president, Edward Stanley, British Statesman, Prince Albert Victor, grandson of Queen Victoria; also one of French republican statesman Leon Gambetta; places and objects of interest including the tomb of Washington at Mount Vernon, a bird's-eye view of Newport, Vermont, Boylston St., Boston, c. 1891, a view of a Nantucket sidewheeler Island Home, and the U.S. cruiser San Francisco in Boston Harbor, approx. forty-one total.
