Two Sixth-plate Daguerreotype Portraits of Young Couples, the first depicts a woman wearing a windowpane pattern dress, the man's necktie is tinted light blue; the second shows a woman holding a book on her lap titled BUNYAN'S PILGRIM'S PROGRESS on the spine, the man is wearing plaid trousers, mounted in "The Lion in Love" (very rare), and "Geometric/Scroll" (Krainik 147, 221) Union cases, (imperfections).
First portrait- tarnish ring, minor scattered corrosion and dust, the very rare case is in very good condition, no chips, cracks or other problems, the external patent hinge is good.
Second portrait- minor dust.
