Double Sixth-plate Ambrotype Portraits of a Couple and a Man Wearing a Top Hat, each with tinted cheeks and gilt highlights, in a black "Teasing Her Dog" (Krainik 137) Union case, inscribed in pencil on the case manufacturer's paper label behind the portrait of the man wearing the top hat: "Aaron Bradi-Van O'Linda/Born Florida, NY on the Mohawk, 1818/Died in Amsterdam, NY Apr. 20 1876/Descended from a Mohawk Indian Chief," (lacquer imperfections, minor surface grime).

The couple with lacquer craquelure, minor unobtrusive minute spots of surface debris and dust on both portraits.
