Black-haired China Doll, Germany, late 19th century, light blue painted eyes, short black hair low on brow, cloth body, china lower arms and legs, dressed in fancy gown which may be a copy of one referred to in a note with the doll: "Emily Donilson was the wife of Andrew Jackson's nephew. The gown was a gift from President Jackson and worn to the Inaugural Ball 1829-1836."
