Goebel "Passing of the Peace Pipe" White Bisque Porcelain Figural Group, "Sculpted by Gerhard Skrobek for Goebel," West Germany, c. 1974, depicting two figures seated before a teepee, mounted on a wooden base, designed by Skrobek. Two figures before a tee pee passing the peace pipe, the metal plaque affixed to the wooden base is inscribed: "Passing the Peace Pipe. Celebrating the covenant between the Indian and White Man. Sculpted by Gerhard Skrobek for Goebel. No. 174 in limited edition of 400.," ht. 17, wd. of base 16 3/4, lg. 14 1/4 in.
