Late Victorian Eagle-carved Marble-top Table, America, late 19th century, with rectangular black marble top inset on molded and carved apron, raise on carved spreadwing eagle on plinth supports, molded and shell carved center stretcher, on fluted scroll feet, ht. 20, wd. 26, dp. 20 1/4 in.
Provenance: Property of the historic Charles Street Inn, Boston.

some separation between some of the top molding joints, a little looseness to the stretcher, and one corner of the marble top had previously been broken and repaired
