Temporary Grave Marker, Pistol, Bible, Documents of Corporal Randall Mann, c. 1861-1862, wooden temporary grave marker engraved with a shield and CORPORAL RANDALL MANN 25th MASS Co. H Died Feb 10th, bullet struck bible, Smith & Wesson Model 2 revolver, numerous letters, many of them wartime, images of Cpl. Mann, silver casket plate, and the thirty-four-star flag that covered his casket upon his return home to Leicester, Mass.

Note: The 25th Massachusetts attacked Roanoke Island, North Carolina on February 8th, 1862 losing 42 wounded and 6 killed, including Corporal Mann. For more information see "Wearing The Blue in the Twenty-Fifth Mass. Volunteer Infantry," by J. Waldo Denny, published in 1879, pp. 77-81.
