Beautiful concentrated color with supple sheen, heavy bricking (of course) at edges, bracken and surprising exotic spice - cinnamon, clover veering towards lavender; ink and anise with that mature stewy tomato typical of older Bordeaux but seems to shrug off with air - nice dark fruit, cherry, plum, deep blackberry, with a beautiful rich, cedar, lilac, menthol lift at tend, enough acidity and lasting structure to keep you tracking it's unbelievable evolution. -MK 01/13, a bottle of 1976 SLV from this collection.
