American Electric Guitar, Gibson Incorporated, Kalamazoo, 1957, Model Les Paul, stamped 7 2550 at the back of the peghead, with original case. This guitar retains its original rare black pickguard and black pickup surrounds.

Belt buckle wear to back. Small nicks to peghead corners. Very small minor nicks to top. No visible greening to top finish. Original frets, very light wear to first seven positions. Pickups are original non-stickered pre-PAF Humbucking. Solder joint between pickups and pots have been repaired.

Because the solder joints were repaired, it was thought that pickups may have been removed and then put pack, but further inspection revealed that the tension springs are undisturbed and still have the original corrosion on them, so it is not likely that they were ever out.

Excellent setup and sound. Weight 9 lbs.
All parts and electronics are certified original and in good working order.
Five-clasp case in good condition.
Maple top, dark back. Light wood visible through control cavity, slip of dark stained maple visible in between back and binding.
