Two Blue and White Jars with Covers, China, 20th century, meiping-shape with short canted neck, decorated with plums and peonies, four warrior heads applied on the shoulder in four directions, each with a hole probably to secure the cover using a string, the domed cover with a knob shaped in a seated lion, the flat flanged rim decorated with the same band of simplified meander, numerous spur marks allover, ht. with cover on 22 1/4 in.
