Extensive Herend Rothschild BirdPattern Luncheon Service, Hungary, 20th century, with gilded trim and polychrome enamel-decorated with flowers and birds, including a covered tureen, covered coffeepot, covered teapot, cream jug, two covered sugar bowls and covers, sauceboat, pair of candelabra, ht. 9; hot water jug, ht. 6 1/4; two oval platters, lg. 14 1/2, 16 1/4; twelve crescent-shaped bone dishes, scallop-rimmed oval serving dish, lg. 8 5/8; triangular serving dish, scallop-rimmed circular serving dish, dia. 10; twelve plates, dia. 8; twelve soup plates, dia. 9 3/4; twenty-four plates, dia. 10; twelve coffee cups, twelve teacups, twenty-three saucers, double open salt cellar; oval side dish, lg. 3 3/4; and twelve napkin rings.

Five of the napkin rings a later addition. No evidence of any cracks, staining, chips or restorations throughout.
