Black-painted Bannister-back Armchair, Milford, Connecticut, area, last half 18th century, with concave crest rail above four molded balusters, vase- and ring-turned stiles and arm supports, and double stretcher base, on casters, old surface, (imperfections),ht. 43 1/4, seat ht. 16 1/2 in.

Provenance: Linsly Homestead, North Branford, Connecticut.
