This quilt has had professional conservation done. It has a loosely applied cotton fabric to the back to strengthen it, a strip of velcro applied to one end for handing purposes, sheer netting applied around all the edges, to stabilize the fraying, there are areas of stains and toning, a few tears to the central medallion.
