Gilt-bronze Manjusri, China, 18th/19th century, the bodhisattva in an elaborately decorated robe, sitting cross-legged on an upturned lotus throne, with a hand gesture indicating he is in meditation, mounted on a decorated lion, standing on elliptical base decorated with vertical notches, downturned lotus leaves, and gilt beads, ht. 18 in.
