Four Double-series Opaque-twist Wineglasses, England, c. 1770, two with round funnel bowls and conical feet: one with molded bowl and stem with pair of spiral tapes inside two multi-ply corkscrews, ht. 5 1/2, the other with a vertical spiral column surrounded by two multi-ply spiraled bands, ht. 5 5/8; and two with ogee bowls and conical feet: one stem with a pair of spiral tapes inside a pair of multi-ply corkscrews, ht. 5 1/4, the other with molded bowl on a stem with four-ply column surrounded by a pair of four-thread spiraled bands, ht. 5 1/2 in.
