Renaissance Revival 18kt Gold Gem-set and Enamel Pendant/Brooch, Tiffany & Co., designed by Paulding Farnham, set with circular-cut colored sapphires and old European-cut diamonds in platinum bezels, enamel ground, dia. 1 1/4 in., with the "Beaver" mark of the 1901 Buffalo Exposition, signed Tiffany & Co.

Farnham produced extraordinary jewels in the Renaissance style for the Pan-American, Buffalo, and Louisiana Purchase Expositions of 1901 and 1904, which displayed colored sapphires that were promoted by Tiffany's famed gemologist George Frederick Kunz.
