Four Bench-made Steam Engines and a Stationary Hot-air Engine, Glen Bowers, Owensboro, Kentucky, c. 1955, including a steam boiler with pressure gauge and site glass, two 3-in. spoked flywheels with a 1-in. stroke, three-arm fly-ball governor, all on a Lucite base, ht. 11 in.; a tractor with 3-in. rubber geared wheels, 2 1/2-in. spoked flywheel with a 3/4-in. stroke and a two-arm fly-ball governor, ht. 8 in.; a hot-air boiler with five cooling fins, 3-in. pierced flywheel with a 1-in. stroke, on a aluminum and wood base, ht. 6 in.; a copper boiler with site glass, 2 1/2-in. spoked flywheel with a 1-in. stroke, all on an aluminum and brass base, ht. 7 1/4 in.; a red and black painted engine with a center wheel and 1-in. stroke, ht. 4 in.
