Attributed to Mary Way (New London and New York, 1769-1833)

Dressed Miniature Portrait of a Gentleman. Unsigned. Watercolor on paper and fabric, mounted onto black velvet, in a round hinged glass pendant case, the reverse window containing a lock of hair, dia. 2 in. Condition: Smudge to paint on top of man's head, crack to glass panel on reverse.
