Four Small Silver Items, three English: a nutmeg grinder, 1872-73, maker's mark "WS" within an oval lozenge, cylindrical with hinged lid and engraved armorial, ht. 2 3/4; and two Birmingham vinaigrettes: one 1846-47, Nathaniel Mills, maker, oval with scrolled border, the hinged lid with engraved scene of a mill on a stream, the reverse with cartouche inscribed "Sibyl/ from her G. M./ 9 June 1860," the interior with pierced and gold-washed grill, lg. 1 3/8; the second 1801-02, maker's mark "TW," rectangular with canted corners, the hinged lid inscribed "Louisa," the interior with pierced and gold-washed grill, lg. 1 1/8; and a Continental patch box, maker's mark double-struck "K T" within a parallelogram, the hinged lid inset with red paste stones and a gray pearl, with gold-washed interior, lg. 1 1/4 in.; approx. 3.4 troy oz.
