Initialed and dated "MR-40" l.l., identified on a label from Zabriskie Gallery, New
York, affixed to the backing.
Ink (black and sepia), ink wash, and graphite on paper, sheet size 14 x 10 in. (35.6 x 25.4 cm), framed.
Condition: Laid onto backing mat, tack holes to corners. minor mat burn.
Provenance: Gift from the artist to his sister, Dorothy Ray Goodbread, Rydall, Pennsylvania; by family descent to her daughter, Florence (née Goodbread) Trichon Blumenthal (1921-1997), Elkins Park, Pennsylvania; by family descent to the present owner.
