Carl Sprinchorn (American, 1887-1971)

Two Works: Bather in a Blue Swimsuit, signed "Carl Sprinchorn" in pencil l.l., mixed media on paper; and Purple Mountains, unsigned, stamped "FROM THE ESTATE OF/CARL SPRINCHORN/(1887-1971)" and identified on labels from Tom Veilleux Gallery, Farmington, Maine, and Alexandre Gallery, New York, on the backing, pastel on paper. Sizes to 17 x 27 in., framed. Condition: Bather with rippling, subtle handling creases and staining, tack hole u.c., not examined out of frames.
