Edward Weston (American, 1886-1958)

Two Portraits of Lt. Roswell Drake Ison, 1944. Both initialed and dated "E W 1944" in pencil on the mount, and identified on a label affixed to the reverse. Gelatin silver prints, image/sheet sizes 4 5/8 x 3 5/8 in. (11.5 x 9.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Subtle toning, minor staining to mounts, not examined out of frames.

N.B. The lot is accompanied by an undated letter from Weston to Frances (Forbes) Ison, in an envelope postmarked 1949.
