L'Elan, 1928 (Holland et al., 346). Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., dated and publisher within the plate, artist's dry stamp l.l. Etching with hand-coloring on paper, plate size 19 7/8 x 14 7/8 in. (50.3 x 37.6 cm),in a Deco-style frame.

Sheet size 26 3/8 x 19 1/4 in. (67.0 x 49.0 cm). Hinged with linen tape to back mat in two places along top edge. No inscriptions or notations on the reverse. Gently light struck. A small accretion located u.l. quadrant, measuring 1/16 inch (0.2 cm) and located about 3/4 inch above the figure's right wrist. Subtle surface abrasion c.l. in the figure's skirt, measuring about 1-1/4 x 1/4 inch (3.0 x 1.0 cm),with a similar, smaller area located l.l. and measuring 5/8 inch (2.0 cm). Very small stain to u.r. edge, outside the image area, measuring 1/16 inch (0.2 cm).
