Victorian Carved Walnut and Patinated Metal Wall Plaque, late 19th century, the walnut frame carved with garlands of fruit and flowers accented with birds, with Romayne heads to corners, lower edge carved and gilded with initials, centered by a patinated metal figure of a classical maiden with a tambourine, lg. 31 1/8 x 15 1/4 in.
shrinkage cracks at top center. the two lower romayne heads need reattaching (off, but present). some minor age rubbing, light edge nicks, and slight nicks to raised decoration of frame. One bird with a small chip to top edge of a wing.
