Late Victorian Cheval Mirror Attributed to Merklen Bros., c. 1890, the rectangular beveled mirror within twisted openwork frame, with carved square details to corners and ropetwist border, on stand with further rope-twisting and shoe feet, ht. 70 1/2, wd. 27 3/8 in.
Both stand and framed mirror have small scattered chips to outer edges and corners. Feet show signs of usage and the mirror has patches of age-related discoloration.
