Paul Revere, Jr. Silver Cann, Boston, c. 1780, pear-shaped body with molded flared rim on molded circular splayed foot, double scroll hollow handle with sprig on upper handle and scroll terminal on the lower; the base with engraved monogram "G/AM", maker's mark "P. REVERE" in a rectangle struck below rim near handle, and on base, (minor scratches, reinforcement to handle terminals),ht. 5 1/8 in., approx. 12 troy oz.

Provenance: Family descent from the original owners.

Minor scratches, reinforcement to handle terminals, and to area where top of handle attaches to body, rim slightly out of round, scattered very subtle dents.
