David Young Cameron (Scottish, 1865-1945)
Stonehenge, 1928, from the second state of two, probably an impression after the steel facing of the plate (Rinder, 479). Signed "D.Y. Cameron" in pencil l.r. and within the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 5 x 7 7/8 in. (12.5 x 20.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Staining, not examined out of frame.
Out of the frame the sheet measures 7 5/8 x 10 in., and has deckled edges. The staining is unobtrusive. Tape hinged to backing mat along top edge, margins over 1 inch, subtle acid burn to front and back of sheet.
