Pair of Paris Porcelain Hand-painted Vases in the Chinese Taste, France, 19th century, each with flared rim with concentric gilt rings and neck decorated with orange flowers and foliage, above polychrome enamel decorated body with scenes of a man and woman, each assisted by a child, ht. to 12 7/8 in.
Both with loss to gilt at rim, and scattered scratches and loss to enamel, the woman with repaired 2 in. chip to base and 2 1/2 in. hairline crack extending down from rim , the man with 1/2 in. firing blemish midway up one side.
