Both oil on paper, sheet sizes to 9 x 12 in., unframed.
Condition: Both with toning to edges, City with scattered foxing, Valley with creasing along left edge.
Provenance: By descent in the artist's family to the Fuller Museum of Art (Gift of the artist's husband, Dr. Robert Barstow),Brockton, Massachusetts, to the New Britain Museum of American Art.
