A platter by Don Pilcher, glazed with a brushed wavy brown line on a speckled sand-colored ground, signed Pilcher on base; a bowl with rough surface and jagged rim, inscribed Clegg on base, an unmarked bowl with extended rim with deep well, glazed with dark brown interior and lighter speckled rim repaired rim chip, ht. 1 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 1/2, dia. 12, 11 3/8, 8 3/4 in.
The Clegg bowl appears to have two large rim chips but it is part of the design with glaze over the edges of the void, the unmarked bowl has 1 1/2 x 1/2 in. repaired chip.
