Art Deco Platinum Gem-set Figural Wristwatch, attributed to Eszeha, the shaped case with two flappers in buffed-top ruby profile sporting buffed-top onyx bobs and wearing emerald circlets, smoking from long cigarette holders, exuding swirls of buffed-top calibre-cut sapphire smoke, full-cut diamond melee accents, and scroll-engraved gallery, calibre-cut buffed-top ruby lugs, lg. 2 1/8 in., completed by satin strap with platinum and diamond melee buckle.
Note: A drawing for this watch is pictured among a group of designs of decorative watch bands from Eszeha, Geneva, c. 1920, in Wristwatches History of a century's development, Kahlert, Muhe, and Brunner, p. 34. Eszeha was aquired by Chopard in the 1960s.
