Incised date "August 3d 1859" l.c., identified on a presentation plaque, stenciled
"ROB'T FULLERTON/ ART DEALER" and inscribed "Cecilia 29...28205" on the reverse.
Oil on canvas, 15 x 24 in. (38.1 x 61.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Retouch, areas of skinning, craquelure.

Scattered retouch to the sky in both u.l. and u.r. quadrants--primarily small dots of retouch to the u.l. quadrant, and larger dabs of retouch to the u.r. quadrant, spanning an area of approximately 7 x 1 in. at the extreme height and width; craquelure.
