Dashes and broad washes of retouch to all four quadrants, with the largest area of retouch measuring approx. 3 x 3 at an extreme height and width to the seated figure's wig and (viewer's left) side of face. Multiple dashes of retouch spanning 5 x 5 inches at an extreme height and width located at center between the conversant figures and above the seated figure's pipe. Retouch and abrasions along the frame liner. Fine abrasions to l.l. quadrant. Craquelure and alligatoring throughout.
