Pair of Sevres Porcelain Bronze-mounted Vases and Covers, France, 19th century, royal blue ground with gilt floral and foliate borders, each with oval cartouches, one with a herder tending cattle, the other with two women tending cattle, the reverse with flowers and butterflies, bronze ram's head handles, ht. 16 3/4 in.
Estimate $1,000-1,500

Covers: One with a 1" rim hairline and a 1 3/4" hairline through at the join for the finial.
Vases: each with several "jewels" missing from cartouche frame; each with evidence of bronze collars having been reglued in place.
