Austrian Copper Enamel and Silver-gilt Mounted Box, Vienna, c. 1866, Hermann Ratzerdorfer, maker, rectangular, the hinged lid decorated with mythic scene of Bacchus and a satyr pursuing a maiden by a stream, the sides with further classical scenes of satyrs and maidens, the interior fully decorated with further elaborate mythic scenes, the underside with a landscape, with gold-washed silver rim mountings, wd. 4 1/8, dp. 2 7/8 in.
