George III Hepplewhite-style Carved Mahogany "Prince of Wales" Child's Side Chair, late 19th century, the oval backrest with splat in the form of the Prince of Wales plumes, overupholstered seat, and square tapered legs ending in spade feet, seat ht. 14 in.

N.B. Chair purportedly purchased by the Guenther Family of Baltimore during an auction of Jerome Bonaparte's (1784-1860) estate.

seat rail stamped "Made in England," joint in wrong place to be 18th century, repaired breaks to backrest and splat, small nicks and chips
