Bowen, Philadelphia, from Quadrupeds of North America, 8vo, sheet sizes approx. 6 7/8 x 10 1/4 in.; comprising: Townsends Rocky Mountain Hare, No. 1, plate III; Northern Hare (Old and Young), No. 3, plate XI; Northern Hare, No. 3, plate XII; Worm-wood Hare, No. 18, plate LXXXVIII; and Bachman's Hare, No. 22, plate CVIII; mounted in matching contemporary molded giltwood frames. Condition: Cleaned, minor toning, only one examined out of frame.
