Condition: Lined, retouch, stable craquelure, varnish inconsistencies.

Retouch to the sitter's face, including two spots in the forehead bangs each measuring up to 1-1/2 x 3/4 inch, a patch under her right eye measuring 1 x 1/4 inch, and spots of retouch to fill craquelure in her right cheek. Scattered dots of retouch in hair. Retouch to sitter's garment, to fill craquelure in red shawl collar in a broad area measuring 8 inches across and 7 inches high overall, retouch to her right shoulder, and in an area measuring 4 x 5 inches overall on the right side of her wrap. Broad area of retouch to fill craquelure in the center right background, measuring 12 inches high and 5 inches across. Craquelure to face and neck of the sitter appears stable.
