Jade Covered Jar, China, 19th century, of archaic drinking vessel hu shape, supported on a pedestal foot, carved in relief with a crane under a pine tree to one side, and pheasants resting near a prunus tree to the other, dragon-head lugs, foo dog finial, the jade of semi-translucent celadon color, ht. 9 1/4 in.
